Marianna Gonzalez, Project Assistant
Marianna is a Project Assistant in the Mediated Matter research group. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Wellesley College in 2015, where she primarily studied art history and architectural theory. Through the MIT/Wellesley Exchange Program, she was able to complete the architecture studios at MIT and conduct research for faculty in MIT’s Department of Architecture.
Marianna is currently a Masters of Architecture candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Currently, she finds herself interested in experimenting with fabrication methods, material choice, and representation aesthetic: How can different methods of construction highlight a design's unique properties and how do we then represent those properties and their materiality in a way that is understandable, appealing, and compelling to the untrained eye?
