Sunanda Sharma is a research assistant in the Mediated Matter research group. A doctoral candidate, Sunanda focuses on synthetic biology as it applies to design. Her goal is to explore the capabilities of engineered biological systems for creating highly sensitive and adaptable wearable devices, as well as aesthetically beautiful and functional products. She graduated with a degree in biology and concentration in psychology from MIT in 2014.
